New Media Monday

John Hendricks was the guest today on BroadcastMastery.com’s . After producing the show, I read an article at Ink’s website regarding being dead… Ink had the following headline today… “Our Business Is Content” and I agree…

It’s not that is dead… or dying… it’s the in . I talked at length about this topic with , a . We chatted at length about what makes good ? It’s the content, it’s connecting with the , it’s being local… Podasting and New Media is doing this… they are being local… sometimes a lot better than local is.

How do we give the something more to connect to? We need to talk about them and bring them into the conversation.

AND we NEED to utilize these technologies to bring in additional to the station by providing them with content that they can’t get anywhere else online.
